Em and the Gems is Emmaline Muchmore, Scott Olson, Todd Mikkelson, and Dean Milinkovitch -- all Twin Cities music vets who are enjoying the creation and performance of original music once again after spending time with cover band projects. The summer of 2025 saw them wading into the world of recording with Todd Mikkelson as engineer and producer, culminating in their debut 8-song EP now available to stream and purchase. Todd joined as lead guitar player in January 2026, improving the songs and the live sound in all the best ways. They continue to perform live and are currently writing and recording new material.
